The Timemachine Road was designed with a strong focus on aerodynamics and features integrated storage paired with a bottle cage design that minimises drag, especially at higher yaw angles. It also has an aero cover for the front brake caliper and a very slim aero cockpit. All in all the drag reduction compared to a ‘regular’ Teammachine SLR were from 2,5-4% at 40km/h. Design wise we aimed for a sharp and aggressive look, with graphic elements emphasising the cast shadows, and due to the lack of real estate on the downtube we moved main branding to the head tube, which helped the bike stand out even more from the crowd.
