The second generation X1 was one of the many projects Torgny worked on during his tenure at BMW. Lead exterior designer on this project was the supremely talented Calvin Luc, and Torgny was responsible for exterior details, which include lights, wheels, and other trim details. Torgny's comment: "Working at BMW was a childhood dream come true, and it terms of learning from and getting inspired by other designers it's was an incredibly cool and valuable experience!"
