For the third generation Teammachine SLR the R&D Team was given the task of adding disc brakes and cable integration without increasing the system weight, making for a pretty tall order. The structural simulations gave the tube dimensions that the designers were tasked with applying the new design language to. This was quite tricky given the ambitious performance targets. We also did a rim brake version, and this was the first time we saw that a major shift in consumer behavior had taken place: Less than 10% of the customers bought the rim brake version, so for the fourth generation Teammachine SLR, the last on that Torgny worked on, it was disc only.
