BMC Roadmachine Gen II
Industrial Design
Cycling
For the second generation Roadmachine several things were changed, partly due to customer feedback and partly due to the ever-changing competitive landscape. The tire clearance increased, the stack was a bit higher and the headtube stiffness was improved for better stability. In terms of ID we aimed for a harder and more agressive feel since it was a more capable bike, and moved the main branding to the top tube in a bid to make the bike stand out more from the competitors, which in the meantime had adopted many similar features from the Roadmachine Gen 1.
